Excellent location near historical sites, spacious bathroom with modern fixtures, charming historical architecture
Noise from the street is bothersome, especially if your room faces the busy area!!! Temperature control needs a serious upgrade as heating is inconsistent!!!

Nothing to complain about, I recommend staying here. The place is grand old and wonderful and has amazing location very close to the tourist attractions. The rooms are airy and silent, have hypoallergenic pillows.

would be happy to recommend for a short stay
Spacious room, charming decor, the breakfast selection also included good pastries, and the location was very convenient with easy access to public transport right outside the hotel.

missingWrote a review on 27 Septrich breakfast experiencemaintenance issue
The rooms were large and well-furnished, but the
Bathroom had some minor maintenance issues that could be improved. Despite this, the breakfast was good, with choices that catered to everyone in our family. A nice stay with a few areas needing attention.

Location
Room was not cleaned on two occassions. Possible that a valuable pen was "mislaid" in the hotel room - asking the Hotel reception, no satisfactory answer was given.

The breakfast buffet was wonderful, though I was a little disappointed I couldn't take food with me out of the cafe. I liked the detachable shower head.
The room had a street-facing window and it was LOUD. I would have liked a second sheet on the bed because the blanket was very heavy.

Staying at royal was a good experience. The staff were helpful, even printing our boarding passes. Our room was spacious and the breakfast was hot and filling. Plus, it was very close to the main square was great.
a mild critique could be that some decor felt a bit dated.
